こんにちは みんな

I have some kanji questions, here they are:

-I know kanji came from China long ago, so I suppose kanji used in japanese is somewhat a subgroup of total kanji (used in China. Tell me if I'm wrong). But, does exist japanese-only kanji? I remember I read something about kanji evolution, does chinese kanji and japanese kanji evolve together?

-And another one. I know that usually, kanji radicals have a more or less precise meaning, but I have found some that I can't really understand. They are usually the ones that "modifies" an existing kanji, usually adding an enclosure. Can someone explain the meaning of those radicals? For example, I really want to know what does the compound aded to 'circuit' (周) to transform it to 'week' (週) means, because it is widely used.

Thanks in advance,

ネストル
