These are all very colloquial and hard to translate exactly.

It's hard to translate. Do you know about ndesu? Nante is basically just a slangy sort of intensifier thing. "Man, foreign cars? Those things are too expensive; I don't buy 'em."

> 2) ジョンさんは、風邪をひいているらしいですよ。
> What does らしい mean?

Looks-like. "John, it looks like you've caught a cold!"

> 3) 友達とビールをのむことくらい楽しいことはない。
> What does this sentence mean?

"Even drinking a beer with friends is no fun."
