I was reading the lyrics for a song, but I don't quite understand the meaning of "けしてあげよう".
The whole sentence of the lyrics goes like this:
So does this けして the same as 消して? If so, I don't understand why this けして is in hiragana while the lyricist used the kanji "消して" in other parts of the song.
I know けして also means "never". But in this case the sentence structure doesn't make sense since "never" is usually followed by a verb in -ない form.
Please advise. Thanks in advance.
