I'm wondering if it is common practice (or even uncommon practice) to give your height in centimeters over one meter. E.g., giving my height as 77-senchi, meaning 1.77 meters. Obviously only in informal contexts. I could have sworn that I heard people speak this way when I living in Japan, but I don't trust my memory.
